These cookies were made after looking at pictures of the newborn babies room.  Very sweet inspiration to work with and hopefully the cookies will "speak" to the parents.

We are BIG Georgia Bulldog fans so I was ecstatic to get this order that is being given as a birthday gift.  My husband had a lot of input into how jerseys and helmets should appear.  GO DAWGS!!!

One thing about decorating sugar cookies that I just LOVE is that you are only limited by your imagination!  I have always loved color and you can make a cookie design any color that you want.  You don't have to think literally all of the time.  Choose colors that speak to you or that are whimsical.  Cookies are meant to make you SMILE :)

I had the best time working on these Florida Gators cookies for Karrie Drake!!!  My little boy kept asking me if it was hurting me to work on these (because we are GA fans)?   I thought that was really cute.

My Little Pony

My first birthday party request was for 3 dozen My Little Pony cookies.  I am actually very proud of this order.  This is the first time I have created my own cookie cutter.  It was a process from start to finish on this cookie.  There were many layers and drying time had to be taken into account.  Overall great experience and the birthday girl and all her friends loved them.  One really cute thing that happened was the birthday girl the day before the party says "Miss Amber I just love orange ponies".  Her mom and I had planned blue, pink, yellow and purple.  Needless to say we couldn't let the birthday girl down so she got her very own orange pony!  Gotta love kids!!!

Sugar cookies are great for absolutely any occasion.  Any holiday you can think of, birthday favors, celebrations, events, graduations, kick offs, grand openings, or for no reason at all except that you have a craving for them.  My friend says every time we talk on the phone she starts wanting a sugar cookie.
